Credits price rises
If there has been a rise in the wlk fee then the standard mechanism for spending a credit won’t work. The system won’t let you change dates between walks if the price is not the same.
Two options are available.
- Once a new fee comes into effect, cancel/void the order item for any outstanding credits and issue the members with a refund.
- Transfer the funds and create a new credit on the new walk programme.
Usinge Credit.
This is identical to the steps in the previous sections except that the new order is for the same member and there is only a partial payment for the new order.
- Find the credit and change the date from credit to transferred booking
- Create a new order for the same member on the new programme selecting the walk required. Adjust the price by the amount of the existing credit. The resulting total will not be 0 and the difference between the old and new fees will still need to be paid and the payment method will still need to be selected.
